Just one day after the fire in Co.14's area, the BAVFD was back to action at a Barn Fire in Co.2's area. Rescue Squad 10 and Foam Tanker 10 made the response to Glock Place. First arriving units found a barn fully involved, threatening several other structures. First arriving crews made a quick knock and contained the fire to the original structure. Crews on scene were faced with a unique experience when a Diesel tank ruptured, causing a violent explosion, nearly missing a crew member from Co.3. Crews regrouped and focused on the task at hand. Chief 1B had the Command.
