I just wanted to thank Chief 10 and Chief 10B and the members of Bel Alton Volunteer Fire Department for helping us escort our fallen brother Donnie into the funeral home. I was so proud of the display and support we got from you and Laplata. From the bottom of my heart thank you. I know Donnie is proud of last night.

Sorry to hear that Alex Frye passed away. Alex was a friend and a BAVFD brother. We ran many calls together while I was a member. I know he will be missed by all.

As many of you know from previous fund raising, my lil cousin ADAM LUMPKINS has been battling leukemia for 3 years now. He recently relapsed. Now having it in his eye and bone marrow. Treatment and daily living is getting rather expensive. We as a family are all coming together to do different benefits to help his family in time of need.... A benefit golf tournament has been scheduled for June 30 at 9 am. it will be held at Breton Bay Golf and country club.

Stumbled on your website while looking in to my grandmother's home town of Bel Alton MD and see that there are a lot of Hayden's in your company. Could it be that they are related to her (and me?). Her name was Edna Helen Hayden before she married my grandfather (William Kamper) and moved to NYC. I believe she had a sister Genevieve and quite a few other brothers and sisters. Her father owned a general store and was post master. If anyone is related to us, drop me a line at the email above, thanks.

It was sad to hear of the passing of Joe Gragan. He was an excellent Chief while I was stationed there in the Late 80's/ Early 90's. My memories of those days are some of the greatest memories of my life.

Joe was a great mentor and friend. The town of Bel Alton has truely lost one of its pillars.

I had the honor of running many many calls with Joe and working with him on other EMS/Fire related projects.
